Not only Jio provided high speed internet but it also provided free voice calling to it’s customers. Within a short span of time, Jio made millions of subscribers with it’s non-resistible offers.
Jio, has now planned to storm the bro
adband world as well. It is launching Jio Giga Fiber Broadband
services in India. Jio Giga Fiber Broadband services will be priced at Rs 500 for 100Gb of data. Right now, it is in the testing phase. The testing is done for users based in Mumbai and Pune. It is expected to hit all over India in July or August.
Jio Giga Fiber Broadband Plan:
Jio is know for it’s unbeatable and exciting offers. And this is no exception. Jio is launching the Jio Giga fiber broadband services with an initial free offer. The broadband connection will cost Rs 4500/- which is to be given at the time of installation and it is refundable.
For the first 3 months, it would be free, with a speed of 100 Mbps and 100 Gb per month limit.

How to apply for Jio Giga Fiber Broadband?
As of now, Jio has not released anything officially on it’s website. We do not the complete details on how can we apply for the Jio broadband. We will update this post as and when anything officially is release. You can subscribe to our newsletter for the latest updates. We will keep you posted on the same.
Jio Fiber Box:
The Jio setup box comes with a 1 main router that you need to install in your home. Along with this you will get a quick start guide, a power adapter and a Lan cord. The power adapter is 12V, 2 Amp. The router is a flat square shaped box, there is no antenna on the outside of the box. It has the inbuilt antennas, so you can see the flat box on outside with ports on the back.
On the rear side of the router, there is a wps button, a reset pin, an input power supply port, fiber cable port, you also get an phone line port – so there are chances that in future you might be seeing a landline from Jio as well. There 3 Ethernet ports and and 2 USB ports .
On the front of the router, there are no slots for ports and there are no buttons as well. There is just a Led light which indicates the input/output data flow or standby mode. There are vents on the side and below of the router to keep it cool.
On the down side of the router, there is a rubberized anti- slip pad, which helps to keep the router in place.
Jio Giga Broadband Interface:
On the Jio interface there is an option of
- Device Status
- Attached Disks
- Manage gateway
So, it is basic interface in which you can see which all devices are connected, what is the level of security, you can manage users who can use the data or you can control the access levels of data to the connected users. You also have a option to check, what’s the CPU load and how much of your router RAM is utilized. It also shows, the status of the storage devices attached to the router.
So, basically you can manage everything on a single screen. The interface is very basic in nature but has covered all the important functionalities and features that an average consumer look for.
If you want a detailed interface to manage your device then you can click on Manage Gateway on the panel. It will redirect you to the login page, where you can enter your credentials.
Once logged in it will take you the detailed information page, where you can can manage many things of the router. There is an option of Status management, Security management – in which you can manage firewall as well. You can filter the contents, block or restrict websites. On the Admin option – you can add users, control the bandwidth of the user and restrict the users.
